Pepin Rouge is a red wine – nègoce – produced by Domaine Achillèe in Scherwillerm, in Alsace, and obtained from the blend of Syrah, Grenache, Carignan, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, harvested manually. Lean maceration and spontaneous fermentation by indigenous yeasts, refinement in steel for a few months and immediately in glass where it is bottled without addition of sulfur dioxide, does not require filtration or clarification. Pepin Rouge releases many nuances, from floral to fruity, from mineral to herbaceous, and then hints of licorice, cloves and even black pepper. In the mouth it is fun, fresh and full-bodied, with thick and intriguing tannins. Savory and very soft. To try with game

Yves Dietrich and his sons Pierre and Jean have created a true microcosm, unique and contagious.
Yves is responsible for the vineyard, Jean takes care of the cellar and Pierre takes care of the commercial part.
In 1991 Yves decided to take over the family farm, which he converted to organic in 1999 before the big leap into the biodynamic world in 2003.
In 2017, a bioclimatic cellar was created inside the largest thatched building in Europe, shared with the Domaine Jean Paul Schmitt.
The company has 18 hectares and the wines are precise and direct, engaging and clear.
