Maceration initially for 2 days then ferments spontaneously and remains on the skins for about 3 weeks, aged in 30 hl wood and 500 liter tonneaux for 15 months.
Explosion of fruits and flowers such as Rose and Violet, spicy notes
Mouth clean and fresh, full. The beautiful structure blends with the flavor, giving the wine an uncommon elegance. Tannin that caresses you and great persistence.
Serving temperature 18°-20°
Perfect for Tagliatelle with Truffle or Pappardelle with Wild Boar, but it also goes well with braised meats
It’s a red that makes you think it’s a Brunello. A missed Brunello deserves applause, especially looking at the vintage in which it was produced.
Montalcino (Siena)
Caroline Pobitzer is a South Tyrolean woman with a passion for Tuscany and good wine. He then decides to move to Montalcino and found a company, Pian dell’Orino. His consultant was a German agronomist and oenologist, Jan Hendrik Erbach, but their relationship soon blossomed into love, and now the couple, more passionate and determined than ever, are together in the company’s saddle.
In the 6 hectares of the biodynamically managed company, the only grape variety grown and pampered is Sangiovese.
Everything at Pian dell’Orino, from the vineyard to the cellar, is aimed at allowing this noble vine to express itself at the highest levels, giving fleshy, savory and rich wines, the fruit of Mediterranean passion and Teutonic precision. Above all, the fruit of wisdom and patience!
