Kreso Petrekovic is a Croatian who moved to Brooklyn to work as a wine salesman. After thousands of bottles sold and hundreds of visits to the cellar he decides that the time has come to start producing his own wine.
Kreso comes from a family of small winemakers, and it is that artisanal tradition that he wants to follow to satisfy his idea of wine. Natural viticulture banning all forms of chemistry and traditional winemaking without the use of native yeasts or additions of sulfur dioxide.
Petrekovic now divides his time between New York, where he still works for Zev Rovine’s Selection, and his land, on the border between Croatia and southern Styria, where his father awaits him and supervises the work in the vineyard and in the cellar
