The grapes come from a 35-year-old vineyard with clay-limestone soil, only 20% are destemmed, maceration lasts 2 weeks in truncated cone-shaped wooden vats, refinement lasts at least 10 months in big barrel
Flowers and red fruits, cherry, currant and raspberry stand out, mineral notes and hints of rosemary, undergrowth with light garnish spices
Fresh and bitter on the finish, elegant and with velvety, light tannins

La Sextant is a brand new but already cult winery, it was created by Dominique Derain and Julien Altaber.
