Sylvie Augereau is not only a wine enthusiast, she is one of the most important writers on the subject and is the organizer of “La Dive bouteille”, a historic natural wine fair held annually in the Loire.
In 2014 he realized his dream, that of buying vineyards. She did this by acquiring approximately two hectares in Anjou belonging to her grandfather, who left her everything as an inheritance, trained in Chenin Blanc from 50-year-old vines and Cabernet Franc from 80-year-old vines.
His idea of wine is absolutely natural, from the biodynamic approach in the vineyard to winemaking. Low yields, manual harvesting and meticulous selection of the bunch, and then using native yeasts in the cellar.
