As with all Jakob wines, the name of the wine is that of one of the animals native to the vineyard or its surrounding environments: in this case, a water bird, the lesser loon.

Traben-Trabarch (Germany)
Jakob’s story is one that needs to be told, perhaps over a good glass of his wine.
Born in Berlin, he gained experience in various agricultural companies around Europe: Austria, Italy, France and finally Moselle. Here he found the ideal balance to develop his idea of wine.
It enters the history of the Moselle and redefines it with surprising wines, both whispery and powerful.
The focus is on the vineyard, where the plants and grapes are left to develop until the fruit is fully ripe, year after year.
In the cellar, the perfectly ripe grapes are processed with the minimum of interventions necessary to favor the creation of complex wines with a long life ahead. All wines are completely free of additives
