Puzelat – Clos de Tue Boeuf
️ 12.5%
A wine born from the friendship between Thierry Puzelat and Mathieu Coste. From the union of two vineyards they own with an average age of 50 years on soils rich in clay one and flint the other. The two grapes are macerated together as a whole bunch for 18 days then 16 months in used 500-litre oak barrels. Fine red fruits, elegant and fresh.
Red fruits in the foreground, dark petal flowers, great minerality
Elegant and fresh sip, moderately tannic and with good persistence
Serving temperature 14°
Taglioni with Truffle
A wine created to establish a friendship can only be good and produced with the heart
Les Montils, Touraine, Loire (France)
In 1990, brothers Thierry and Jean-Marie made the decision to take over the family business, starting to produce organic wines that conveyed the characteristics of that territory.
The company is now called Clos de Tue Boeuf, and consists of 10 hectares plus 6 for rent.
It is documented that wine has been produced in these territories since the Middle Ages and that the Puzelat family has been linked to these lands since the 15th century.
