From a sapling vineyard planted in 2001 at 200 meters above sea level on decomposed granite. Yield 20 hl/ha. The grapes ferment in whole bunches for four days in 1500L open tanks, after which they are pressed to complete the fermentation in a 3000L spent wooden barrel.
Dark petaled flowers, blueberries, blackberries and faint hints of black pepper, very mineral
Fresh like a fruit juice, full-bodied like a Sirah, practically salty with delicate tannins
