🛁 The grapes come from a hill overlooking the Val di Chiana and are harvested by hand, macerated for about 20 days in steel and aged for 3 months in 50-hectolitre French oak, then 3 months resting in the bottle

The Nottola farm is located on a magnificent hill overlooking the entire Val di Chiana, within the
prized wine-growing area where Vino Nobile di Montepulciano has been produced for over a thousand years. A heritage of immense historical and cultural value that has encapsulated the typicality of the area since the earliest generations. The winery was purchased at the end of the 1980s by Anterivo Giomarelli and is now managed by his son Giuliano.
In the cellar, Slavonian oak barrels with capacities ranging from 30 to 50 hl are used to age Vino Nobile di Montepulciano D.o.c.g. and Vino Rosso di Montepulciano D.o.c., following the classic Tuscan ageing system.
French wood barriques and Tonneaux complete the ageing of the Riserva di Vino Nobile D.o.c.g. and Supertuscan.
