Faro Superiore, Messina Faro is a micro-denomination of just 25 hectares and only five producers. Giovanni Scarfone of Bonavita is one of them, a young micro-vine grower from 1980, first harvest in 2006, and in this area he owns 7 hectares, of which only 2.30 are planted with vines, the rest are destined for olive groves and woodland.
