Bonavita
Faro Superiore, Messina Faro is a micro-denomination of just 25 hectares and only five producers. Giovanni Scarfone of Bonavita is one of them, a young micro-vine grower from 1980, first harvest in 2006, and in this area he owns 7 hectares, of which only 2.30 are planted with vines, the rest are destined for olive groves and woodland. The strange thing is that in this area threatened by cement, everything speaks to you of Sicily. The sea is just a stone's throw away, but trying these wines the first thought immediately flies to austere Piedmont with its Barolo. Wine magic and mystery.
