La ferme Saint Martin

Beaumes-de-Venise, Southern Rhône The history of the Domaine de la Ferme Saint Martin began in the 1950s when Aimè and Yvonne Julienne bought land in this very cold area south of the Rhone, facing frosts of -20°; in 1956 they were forced to replant the vines, finally reaping the benefits only in the early 1960s Today, the company is run by Guy and Thomas Julienne (Aimé's son and grandson) and has practised organic-natural farming since 1998. Harvesting is always rigorously manual, with a very strict selection of the bunches that are then vinified separately according to the cru of origin, with indigenous grape varieties. Sulphur dioxide is added, if necessary, in minimal quantities.
