Meinklang is owned by the Michlits family and, with 70 hectares under vine, is the largest biodynamic winery in Central Europe. It produces clean wines with character, using indigenous grape varieties, and offers them at a price/quality ratio that is hard to beat.
Meinklang is a classic family farm where crops and animals coexist in perfect harmony. The size is impressive, around 2000 hectares, but the approach is large-scale biodynamic.
The magic takes place in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Neusiedlersee National Park, the eastern shore of the lake of the same name overlooking the bordering Hungarian plains.
A guardian of biodiversity, Meinklang functions as a living organism, where each element is essential to the balance of the whole.
