Langhe Rosso Austri is a red wine produced by San Fereolo in Dogliani, Piedmont. It is made from pure Barbera grapes vhand-fermented with fermentation in wooden vats and daily pumping over. Maceration is for 5 days on the skins, followed by ageing in wood, and finally in the bottle. Langhe Rosso Austri is a full biodynamic wine with great acidity, a powerful tannin and a rather long finish. On the nose mainly black fruits and dark petal flowers, then hints of cocoa and tobacco. It is a superlative wine to try with Agnolotti, a delight.
