Fleys (France) We are located in the tiny commune of Fleys, in the magical area of Chablis, northwest of Burgundy, and is considered, along with the Cote de Beaune, the home of Chardonnay, which here manages to express itself at the highest levels. This is where Domaine Colette Gros is located, an estate of 18 hectares (6 of which are classified as Premier Cru Chablis) run by the Gautheron family, Chablis vignerons for five generations, with Alain firmly in charge of the company, together with his wife and young son Cyril. The approach to viticulture is done in full respect of the environment and biodiversity, you get to harvest on time, vintage after vintage, healthy grapes, genuine, rich and concentrated!
In the cellar, before making wine, a strict selection process is carried out, then the grapes are destemmed, pressed and left to ferment in steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The wine remains in contact with its lees for at least nine months, then it is filtered and bottled.
