San Pietro in Cariano (VR) The vineyards of Monte Dall'Ora are located in an area of the classic Valpolicella particularly suited to viticulture: grapes have been cultivated and wine produced on the Castelrotto hill since the 5th century. The decision to produce wines from single cru sums up the company's search for identity. At Monte dall'Ora and Camporenzo, the Veronese pergola vines are cultivated on terraces facing south-east towards the city of Verona. At San Giorgio is the high hill Valpolicella Superiore, where finesse and verticality are predominant. Finally, a new synergistic vineyard project is taking shape in Sausto. The land is half a metre deep and rocks outcropping form a limestone basement of Eocene origin. The rocks, which are quite friable, drain excess water and provide the necessary moisture for the roots of the vines, which descend into the depths extracting valuable minerals.
