Cerminara Dunes of Marinella 2022
15,50 €
Dunes of Marinella 2022 is a white wine from Cermina, in Cirò Marittima, Calabria. In particular, the grapes come from the Dune di Marinella reserve, an ecosystem consisting of pure Mediterranean maquis and the presence of the very rare Ginestra Bianca. Vinification takes place in steel where it then matures for a few months. Inebriating floral and herbaceous scents on the nose, of fresh fruit that we also find in the mouth, full and persistent. Perfect with a nice plate of spaghetti with clams and botargo

Cirò Marittima, Calabria
Pierpaolo and Sergio, the Cerminara brothers, grew up among the vines but until 2015 were doing other things in life; the former a mechanical engineer, the latter a pharmacist.
The estate boasts 6 hectares spread between hills and plains within the Cirò DOC area, the first vines were planted by his grandfather a good 60 years ago, the others by his father and uncle in later years.
A few simple rules make up the company's philosophy: maniacal, organic care of the vineyard and the fruit, lots of supervision and minimal interventionism in order to preserve the natural processes of transforming must into wine.
Cerminara is part of the Cirò Revolution, a virtuous, artisanal movement that aims to give visibility and lustre to a historic terroir of exceptional value. The result is wines that are faithful to the character of the terroir and of the highest quality, the first harvest dates back to 2020.
