Domaine Achilleè Riesling Grand Cru Frankstein 2021
68,30 €
Riesling Grand Cru Frankstein is a white wine produced by Domaine Achillèe in Scherwillerm, Alsace. It is made from grapes that come from the Frankstein Grand Cru in Dambach-la-Ville, on decomposed granite soil. The 60% of the mass is pressed immediately and starts fermenting spontaneously with indigenous yeasts. The remaining 40% proceeds with a maceration of several days in whole bunches and is then reassembled with the must. It matures for 10 months in steel vats. Riesling Grand Cru Frankstein is a little gem, produced in only 3000 units, it has a captivating, crystal-clear flavour, savoury and with great finesse. On the nose, citrus notes alternate with those of ginger and cinnamon, mint and caraway. Goes well with Asian cuisine, try it to believe

Yves Dietrich and his sons Pierre and Jean have created a true microcosm, unique and contagious.
Yves is in charge of the vineyard, Jean is in charge of the cellar and Pierre is in charge of the commercial side.
In 1991 Yves decided to take over the family farm, which he converted to organic in 1999 before making the big leap into the biodynamic world in 2003.
In 2017, a bioclimatic wine cellar was created in the largest thatched building in Europe, shared with Domaine Jean Paul Schmitt.
The estate has 18 hectares and the wines are precise and direct, engaging and clear.
