Furlani Sur Lie Alpine Macerato 2019

Sur Lie Alpine Macerate is a sparkling wine produced by Cantina Furlani in Pove Trento, Trentino. The Müller Thürgau and Gewruztraminer grapes come from plots at an altitude of 720 metres, macerate for about a week on the skins with spontaneous fermentation by indigenous yeasts. After pressing, the grapes re-ferment in the bottle at spring temperatures without the addition of sulphur dioxide, where it remains for about two years before commercialisation. The sip is fun, fresh, lively and slender, with pear and citrus dominating the nose. It is a super fun drink obtained from a combination that is not at all trivial, perfect in combination with fatty fish

🛁 Ancestral Method, harvested by hand with spontaneous fermentation from indigenous yeasts and maceration on the grapes for about a week in steel; the base wine re-ferments naturally and spontaneously in the bottle, without the addition of sulphur dioxide, filtrations or clarifications, where it remains for about two years before being sold

👃🏻 White flowers and citrus notes, then lychee and pear, and again herbaceous, mineral and ginger scents

👅 Fresh and almost salty, light and lively, dissenting and persistent, tannin is noticeable
