La Cave du Vin Blanc de Morgex et de La Sallenow Cave Mont Blanc de Morgex et La Salle, was founded in 1983 on the ashes of the Association des Viticulteurs.
Inspired a decade earlier by Don Bougeat, parish priest of Morgex, with the aim of supporting and developing artisanal winemaking in Valle d'Aosta.
In its first 10 years of activity, the Cave du Vin de Morgex et la Salle has practically doubled the number of its members, currently around 80 (corresponding to more than 90% of the grapes harvested in the communes of Morgex and La Salle, covering a total of 18 hectares), and increased its production to the current level of 140,000 bottles per yearA story of pride at the foot of Mont Blanc.
