Tenuta Baroni Campanino was established in 2006 with the intention of expressing our territory to the full. It stands on the hills of the Umbrian Apennines behind the town of Assisi.
The vineyards are situated between 500 and 900 metres above sea level in the Monte Subasio park and are cultivated according to Biodynamic principles and in compliance with the Organic certificate.
Interventions in the vineyard and in the cellar respect the phases of the moon, fermentation and refinement temperatures are never controlled, leaving nature to express the maximum potential of our wines.
From the strict observance of these viticultural and vinification techniques come wines with unique characteristics, pure and full expression of the native terroir.
The yield per hectare is low so that each vine can concentrate all the nutrients in each bunch. Production is limited, and some wines are not produced if the vintage does not meet the quality criteria; each bottle of wine must fully respect the Tenuta's mission.
