Tenuta Baroni Campanino was founded in 2006 with the intention of expressing to the fullest what is our territory. It stands on the hills of the Umbrian Apennines behind the town of Assisi. The vineyards are situated between 500 and 900 metres above sea level in the Monte Subasio park and are cultivated according to the principles of Biodynamics and in compliance with the Organic certificate. Interventions in the vineyard and in the cellar respect the phases of the moon, fermentation and refinement temperatures are never controlled, leaving nature the task of expressing the maximum potential of our wines. From the rigorous respect of these techniques of viticulture and vinification come wines with unique characteristics, pure and full expression of the native terroir. The yield per hectare is low so that each plant is able to concentrate all the nutrients in each bunch. The production is limited, and some references, if the vintage does not respect the quality criteria, are not produced; each bottle of wine must fully respect the mission of the Tenuta.
