Aldo Viola Moretto 2018

Moretto IGP Terre Siciliane is a red wine produced by Aldo Viola in Alcamo, Sicily. The Nerello Mascalese, Perricone and Syrah grapes are manually harvested and destemmed, then fermented separately in a spontaneous manner and macerated for a few days in steel with indigenous yeasts. Once reassembled, the wine matures for 6 months, half of it in steel, the rest in large spent casks. It is bottled without filtrations, clarifications or further additions. Moretto IGP Terre Siciliane is fresh and Mediterranean, with hints of red fruits, sage and rosemary, then iodine and spicy returns. In the mouth it is savoury and full-bodied, fresh and with gentle tannins. Try it with roast porcini mushrooms

👃🏻 Notes of citrus and red fruits, wild flowers and aromatic herbs, then spices and brackish returns

👅 Savoury and balanced, fresh and full-bodied, the tannin is gentle and the finish long
