Red of Posapiano is a red wine produced in Brescia by Posapiano, and made from a blend of Barbera, Marzemino, Schiava and Sangiovese grapes from the municipality of Caionvico. Fermentation and maceration take place in steel, while ageing takes place in large casks. Finally 12 months in bottle. Rosso di Posapiano is a fresh and snappy wine, light and drinkable, the nose catapults us into a forest with floral and earthy, herbaceous and balsamic scents. Try it with beef with Rovato oil

Posapiano is a new creation in the Universe of Nico Danesi and Giovanni Arcari with which the two well-known producers return to their origins, home and childhood.

The company covers 4 and a half hectares of vineyard and 12 hectares of woodland, within one of the oldest small Italian DOCs, Botticino, defined by the two as "a beautiful and unknown town, with clay and stone slopes on which grapes have always been made".

The denomination has a total area of 26 hectares and is identified with Barbera, Schiava, Marzemino and Sangiovese.

Arcari and Danesi use only large wood from Italy for this project, and the percentage of grapes in the wines varies from year to year.
