Chinuri Skin is an orange wine from Pheasant's Tears in Kakheti, Georgia. Pheasant's Tears is an icon in the world of natural wine and each of its wines demonstrates why: spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts and 30-day maceration in amphora, after crushing still in amphora to age for 10 months. It is bottled with a homeopathic dose of sulphur dioxide when necessary, without filtration or clarification. The nose is dominated by dried fruit and tropical fruit, in the mouth it is fresh and savoury, pleasantly tannic. Perfect with pasta alla zozzona

🛁 The grapes come from the village of Mukhrani in Kartli, are harvested by hand, whole cluster vinification and 30 days of maceration, fermented at room temperature. Then 10 months in amphora. Minimal addition of sulphur dioxide pre-bottling, no clarification or filtration.
